About Me
I am an award-winning garden designer living in rural Dorset. I offer a range of services from full garden design and rebuild to one-off consultancy work. Currently my office is overseeing projects in London, Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset which range from full project management to updating existing planting and borders.
My background in Historical Architecture and the world of Fine Art means I am especially well qualified at creating gardens for period properties but what I most enjoy is designing family gardens that will be used and enjoyed by all members of the family.
After a career in fine art, I opened my own private garden in Haslemere, Surrey for the National Gardens Scheme for three years from 2006-2008, whilst retaining in Horticulture. I have completed Diploma courses in both 'Practical Horticulture' at the English Gardening School in Chelsea and 'Garden Design' at the Garden Design School at Painshill Park, Cobham, where I trained under Moira Farnham and Robin Templar Williams.
I moved my office to rural Hampshire in 2012 and then to Dorset in 2021.
I became a fully registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers in 2019.
My design for the family garden in Shamley Green, Surrey won the residential garden award for projects priced between £100,000 and £250,000 at the BALI Awards 2019, and the Courtyard Garden at 'The Old Bakery' in rural Hampshire won the Small Budget Gardens category at the Society of Garden Designers Awards 2014.
I have won the Design Award from Houzz UK in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021
